Shini

Shini, or Shin (Asomtavruli: ; Nuskhuri: ; Mkhedruli: შ; Mtavruli: Შ; ) is the 28th letter of the three Georgian scripts.

In the system of Georgian numerals, it has a value of 900. Shini commonly represents the voiceless postalveolar fricative , like the pronunciation of in "shoe". It is typically romanized with the digraph Sh or with the letter ÅÂ.
