Shine (TV Series)

Shine () is a 2025 Thai romantic historical drama television series produced by Be On Cloud and distributed by WeTV. The series aired weekly on Saturdays from August 2 to September 20, 2025, and was also broadcast on Channel 7. It joined the Netflix Thailand catalog on October 31, 2025.

Synopsis

Set in Thailand between 1969 and 1971, Shine explores the intersection of personal freedom and political unrest. Trin, a disciplined economist, returns from abroad with idealistic visions for reform. His worldview is challenged when he meets Tanwa, a carefree hippie whose unconventional lifestyle masks deeper emotional scars. Their relationship becomes more complex with the arrival of Moira, a flamboyant widow who defies societal norms. Together, they navigate a turbulent era marked by student protests, shifting ideologies, and forbidden love.
