Shin-Hokota Station is served by the Kashima Rinkai RailwayâÂÂs à Âarai Kashima Line, and is located 31.0 km from the official starting point of the line at Mito Station.
The station consists of a single elevated island platform with the station building underneath.
Shin-Hokota Station was opened on 14 March 1985 with the opening of the à Âarai Kashima Line.
In fiscal 2015, the station was used by an average of 1485 passengers daily.
