Sherpur-3 is a constituency represented in the Jatiya Sangsad (National Parliament) of Bangladesh.
The voting for the Sherpur-3 constituency was cancelled during the 2026 General Elections because the Bangladesh Jaamat-e-Islami candidate Mohammad Nuruzzaman Badal had died before the voting started. BangladeshâÂÂs election law (RPO) states, âÂÂIf a contesting candidate dies before polling, the election in that seat must be postponed.âÂÂ
The voting for this constituency is scheduled at April 9th, 2026, alongside Bogura-6.
The constituency encompasses Jhenaigati and Sreebardi upazilas.
The constituency was created in 1984 from the Mymensingh-6 constituency when the former Mymensingh District was split into four districts: Mymensingh, Sherpur, Netrokona, and Kishoreganj.
