Savigneux () is a commune in the Ain department in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes in eastern France.

Geography

The village is in the south-western part of the Ain department 35&nbsp;km north of Lyon and 12&nbsp;km east of Villefranche-sur-Saône in the heart of the Dombes region, which is known for its many lagoons. Savigneux is on the Dombes Plateau, while to the west it borders the fertile hills of the Val de Saône.

The Savigneux have a football field in the center of the city and 2 tennis courts: 1 in front of the school and 1 in the surroundings of the football field.

They have a football club, named FC SAVIGNEUX and a tennis club.
