Sandra Cobena is a Canadian politician and former commercial banker. She was elected Member of Parliament for NewmarketâÂÂAurora in the 2025 Canadian federal election and serves on the Canadian House of Commons Standing Committee on Finance.
Cobena was born in Ecuador and emigrated to Canada in 2006. She has worked as a commercial banker at Toronto-Dominion Bank.
Cobena completed an executive global masterâÂÂs in management from the London School of Economics, and a double honors degree in global commerce and finance from King's University College, University of Western Ontario.
