Sadong-guyÃ
Âk, or Sadong District, is one of the 18 guyÃ
Âk, and one of the six, that constitute East Pyongyang, North Korea. It is on the eastern bank of the Taedong River, and the mouth of the Nam River. It is north of RyÃ
Âkp'o-guyÃ
Âk (Ryokpho District), east of Taedonggang-guyÃ
Âk (Taedonggang District) and north east of TongdaewÃ
Ân-guyÃ
Âk. It was established in September 1959.

Âk is divided into 13 tong (neighbourhoods) and 6 ri (villages):

Ân-dong ìÂ¥ì²Âë (å°Âæ³Âæ´Â):named after a fountain that locals believe gives the strength of a military general

Âl-ri 리ÃÂÂ리 (梨峴éÂÂ):The name means pear valley village because the village was located under a valley with a lot of pear trees.

Âl-ri ëÂÂìÂÂ리 (大åÂÂéÂÂ)
- Tongch'ang-ri ëÂÂ창리 (æÂ±åÂÂéÂÂ):named after a storage at the east of the capital pyongyang.

Âktong-ri ëÂÂëÂÂ리 (å¾·æ´ÂéÂÂ)
