Roy Lucas (September 6, 1941 â August 26, 2019) was an American football coach. He served as the head football at the West Virginia University Institute of Technology in Montgomery, West Virginia, from 1976 until 1982, compiling a record of 26âÂÂ35âÂÂ4. He is the younger brother of former National Basketball Association player Jerry Lucas. Lucas died on August 26, 2019, in Edgewood, Kentucky.
