Romuli () is a commune in BistriÃÂa-NÃÂsÃÂud County, Transylvania, Romania. It is composed of two villages, Dealu ÃÂtefÃÂniÃÂei (Szalanca) and Romuli.
The commune is located at the northern extremity of BistriÃÂa-NÃÂsÃÂud County, from the county seat, BistriÃÂa, on the border with MaramureÃÂ County. It is situated at an altitude of , along the Dealul ÃÂtefÃÂniÃÂei Pass, in a hilly area between the ÃÂibleÃÂ Mountains and the Rodna Mountains.
Romuli is crossed south to north by the national road , which starts in BistriÃÂa and ends in ViÃÂeu de Sus, to the north. The commune has two train stations (one in Romuli and one in Dealu ÃÂtefÃÂniÃÂei), that serve the long CFR Line 409, which runs from Salva to ViÃÂeu de Jos and on to Sighetu MarmaÃÂiei, on the border with Ukraine.
