Richard P. Iannella, son of Christopher A. Iannella, was an Boston City Council member from 1994 through 1996 and from 1997 to 2011.
Iannella resigned four years before the end of his six-year term. In 2008, "a 's report (raised) questions of in Register of Probate's Office. According to the report, in 'voided' transactions disappeared from in (his) office ... between July 2000 and June 2002. In addition to not complying with regulations that secure , (he) is said to have failed to fill out a form explaining the shortfall, the report states."
