Radoslav Andrea Tsanoff

Radoslav Andrea Tsanoff (January 3, 1887 – May 29, 1976) was a philosopher, teacher, and author who was born in Sofia, Bulgaria. In 1903, he traveled to the United States at age 16 and spent a year at Robert College, after leaving Bulgaria. He then went to Oberlin College which is where he got his PhD in philosophy. He joined Rice University in Houston as an assistant professor of philosophy in 1914.

Early life

His father was a Bulgarian author, educator, and newspaper editor while his mother was Lebanese.
