The Puerto Rican euphonia (Chlorophonia sclateri) is a bird species in the finch family, Fringillidae that is endemic to the island of Puerto Rico in the Caribbean. It was formerly considered as a subspecies of the Hispaniolan euphonia.
It is found in Puerto Rico. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical dry forest, subtropical or tropical moist lowland forest, and heavily degraded former forest.
Song is a rambling, jumbled series of rapid squeaks, whistles, and tink notes. Both males and females sing, with females typically having the more complex song. Calls are varied.
