CÃÂiuÃÂi is a commune in BacÃÂu County, Western Moldavia, Romania. It is composed of nine villages: Blidari, BoiÃÂtea, CÃÂiuÃÂi, FloreÃÂti, Heltiu, MÃÂrceÃÂti, Popeni, Pralea, and Vrânceni.
The commune is situated on the Moldavian Plateau, at an altitude of , on the banks of the TrotuàRiver and its right tributary, the CÃÂiuÃÂi. It is located in the southern part of BacÃÂu County, south of the county seat, BacÃÂu, on the border with Vrancea County. CÃÂiuÃÂi is crossed by national road , which connects OneÃÂti to Bârlad.
