Pomp and Circumstance is a 1960 novel by Noël Coward. It is his only full-length published novel, although he also wrote numerous short stories. It was set on the fictitious island of Samolo, which Coward also used as a setting for his play South Sea Bubble. He spent a number of years writing it and was inspired by his experiences of living in Jamaica.
