The racial makeup of the township was 95.61% White, 0.14% African American, 0.28% Native American, 0.00% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.71% from other races, and 3.26% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 0.71% of the population.
