Phú Lộc district

PhÃÂº LÃ¡Â»Âc is a rural district of HuÃ¡ÂºÂ¿ in the North Central Coast region of Vietnam. As of 2003 the district had a population of 149,418. The district covers an area of . The district capital lies at PhÃÂº LÃ¡Â»Âc.

The area abuts the South China Sea to the east and the HÃ¡ÂºÂ£i VÃÂ¢n Pass to the south. The city of PhÃÂº LÃ¡Â»Âc is the main economic focal point of the district, mainly due to tourism.

The district comprises the townships of LÃÂng CÃÂ´ and PhÃÂº LÃ¡Â»Âc, and the communes of LÃ¡Â»Âc TrÃÂ¬, LÃ¡Â»Âc BÃ¡Â»Ân, Vinh HÃ¡ÂºÂ£i, LÃ¡Â»Âc HÃÂ²a, LÃ¡Â»Âc An, LÃ¡Â»Âc BÃÂ¬nh, LÃ¡Â»Âc ThÃ¡Â»Â§y, Vinh Giang, LÃ¡Â»Âc VÃÂ©nh, Vinh MÃ¡Â»Â¹, LÃ¡Â»Âc SÃÂ¡n, LÃ¡Â»Âc TiÃ¡ÂºÂ¿n, Vinh HiÃ¡Â»Ân, Vinh HÃÂ°ng, XuÃÂ¢n LÃ¡Â»Âc and LÃ¡Â»Âc ÃÂiÃ¡Â»Ân.

The district is divided into three sectors, from HuÃ¡ÂºÂ¿ and moving southwards towards PhÃÂº LÃ¡Â»Âc is Sector 1, opposite is Sector 2, and the region between LÃÂng CÃÂ´ and PhÃÂº LÃ¡Â»Âc is Sector 3.
