Ninh Binh FC

Ninh BÃÂ¬nh Football Club (), formerly known as PhÃÂ¹ ÃÂÃ¡Â»Âng and PhÃÂ¹ ÃÂÃ¡Â»Âng Ninh BÃÂ¬nh, is a Vietnamese professional football club based in Ninh BÃÂ¬nh, Vietnam. The club currently competes at the V.League 1, the top tier of Vietnamese football after promotion from the 2024Ã¢ÂÂ25 V.League 2.

History

PhÃÂ¹ ÃÂÃ¡Â»Âng era

PhÃÂ¹ ÃÂÃ¡Â»Âng was established in Hanoi in 2015, competing at the Vietnamese Football League Second Division. Before the 2017 season, PhÃÂ¹ ÃÂÃ¡Â»Âng had recruited former national team defender VÃÂ© NhÃÂ° ThÃÂ nh as captain, and persuaded midfielder Cao SÃ¡Â»Â¹ CÃÂ°Ã¡Â»Âng to continue playing. At the same time, the team also announced information about the new major sponsor, Mitsubishi Motors Vietnam, with a large amount of funding.

In 2021, the club promoted to the V.League 2. Due to their home stadium Thanh TrÃÂ¬ in Hanoi not meeting the league's capacity requirements, the club switched its home stadium to the Ninh BÃÂ¬nh Stadium in Ninh BÃÂ¬nh province from the 2023 season.

Relocation to Ninh BÃÂ¬nh and first successes

In the 2023Ã¢ÂÂ24 season, the club permanently moved its location to Ninh BÃÂ¬nh, thus changing the team name to the current PhÃÂ¹ ÃÂÃ¡Â»Âng Ninh BÃÂ¬nh. In the following season, after LPBank became the main shareholder of the club, its entire players and staffs were switched with LPBank HCMC. Following LPBank's big investments to recruit quality players to the team such as NguyÃ¡Â»Ân HoÃÂ ng ÃÂÃ¡Â»Â©c, ÃÂÃ¡ÂºÂ·ng VÃÂn LÃÂ¢m or ÃÂinh Thanh BÃÂ¬nh, in 2024Ã¢ÂÂ25 season, PhÃÂ¹ ÃÂÃ¡Â»Âng Ninh BÃÂ¬nh secured promotion to the V.League 1 for the first time in their history after an undefeated season at the V.League 2. In June 2025, PhÃÂ¹ ÃÂÃ¡Â»Âng Ninh BÃÂ¬nh changed their name to Ninh BÃÂ¬nh. On 3 July 2025, the club announced the arrival of their manager, Spanishman Gerard Albadalejo. The club also released their new logo, which was inspired from the logo of the former Vissai Ninh BÃÂ¬nh.
