Petrotyx

Petrotyx is a genus of reef-dwelling cusk-eels.

Species

There are currently two recognized species in this genus:

• Petrotyx hopkinsi <small>Heller & Snodgrass, 1903</small> (Velvetnose brotula)
• Petrotyx sanguineus <small>(Meek & Hildebrand, 1928)</small> (Redfin brotula)
