Peteranec is a village and a municipality in the Koprivnica-Krià ¾evci County in Croatia.
In the 2021 census, the total population was 2,300.
Eneolithic artefacts dated to 3500âÂÂ3200 BC have been found in the locality of SeÃÂe, south of Peteranec, and termed the SeÃÂe culture.
In the late 19th and early 20th century, Peteranec was part of the Bjelovar-Krià ¾evci County of the Kingdom of Croatia-Slavonia.
