Almost three years after Raffaella CarrÃÂ's death, and 44 years after the release of the original song, in 2024, German producers Jaxomy and Agatino Romero remixed the song. It was released digitally on 20 February 2024. It went viral on YouTube and TikTok in April when a video of a raccoon kit above a rotating camera was posted.
