Papradno () is a village and municipality in Povaà ¾ská Bystrica District in the TrenÃÂÃÂn Region of north-western Slovakia.
In historical records, the village was first mentioned in 1525. In the past it belonged to the feudal dominion BytÃÂa. Until 1918, the district was part of the Hungarian county of TrenÃÂÃÂn.
It has a population ofÃÂ people (31 December ).
