The Padmarajan Award (Padmarajan Puraskaram) is instituted by Padmarajan Memorial Trust in memory of author and filmmaker P. Padmarajan. The award was initially given for two categoriesâÂÂBest Short Story and Best Feature FilmâÂÂbut has since included new categoriesâÂÂBest Novel, Best Director and Best Screenwriter.
