Overdrive is a 1997 American film starring Steve Guttenberg, which was directed by Lev Spiro for Roger Corman. The film cost $2 million to produce.
The Schlock Pit commented that "While peppered with dialogue drawn from the cliché tombola (âÂÂRacing is dangerous. ItâÂÂs what I doâÂÂ), the main flaw of Overdrive is the uneven clip at which it moves. Track scenes drag on, and they're largely devoid of excitement, all of which have a knock-on effect in regard to any momentum that Spiro tries to build."
