Oslavice () is a municipality and village in à ½ÃÂár nad Sázavou District in the VysoÃÂina Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 800 inhabitants.
Oslavice is located about south of à ½ÃÂár nad Sázavou and east of Jihlava. It lies in the Kà Âià ¾anov Highlands. The highest point is at above sea level. The OslaviÃÂka Stream flows through the municipality.
The first written mention of Oslavice is from 1320.
Oslavice was a sovereign municipality until 1 June 1980, when it was incorporated into Velké Mezià ÂÃÂÃÂÃÂ. Since 1 January 1992, it has been a separate municipality again.
Oslavice is located on the Kà Âià ¾anovâÂÂStudenec railway line of local importance.
There are two chapels, the Chapel of Saint George and the modern Chapel of Divine Mercy. The Chapel of Saint George dates from 1867.
