The village is located on the Olshanka River (a left tributary of the Prutishche in the basin of the Seym), 64 km from the Russia–Ukraine border, 53 km north-west of Kursk, 16 km north-east of the district center – the town Lgov, 6 km from the selsoviet center – Ivanchikovo.
