Oh! What a Night! is a 1932 Australian short film written by and starring George Wallace.

Premise

A man goes drinking with his friend and goes home to his wife.

Production

Wallace had performed the sketch on stage in 1939. It was the second time he had appeared on film, following George Wallace, Australia's Premier Comedian.

Wallace was reportedly the real director, although F.W. Thring is credited.

Release

The film was widely screened as a support feature for Efftee movies in 1932.

Reception

Everyones said "George is a splendid comedian, and the gags keep the laughs coming at a fast bat." The Brisbane Daily Standard wrote, "No funnier talkie short has ever been filmed in this city. George is even better on the films than on the legitimate stage. "
