Obory is a municipality and village in PÃ ÂÃÂbram District in the Central Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 300 inhabitants.
Obory consists of two municipal parts (in brackets population according to the 2021 census):
The name literally means 'game reserves' in Czech.
Obory is located about east of Pà ÂÃÂbram and south of Prague. It lies in the Beneà ¡ov Uplands. The highest point is a nameless hill at above sea level. The brook Jindrovský potok flows through the municipality.
The first written mention of Obory is from 1572.
The I/18 road (the section from PÃ ÂÃÂbram to SedlÃÂany) passes through the municipality.
Obory is poor in monuments. The only protected cultural monument is a Baroque calvary dating from 1727.
