Nuobi (autonym: Lolbiq; ' or ' in Jinping County meaning 'downriver'; Chinese: 糯毠Luobi (Lobi)) is a Loloish language of south-central Yunnan, China.
Nuobi is spoken in:
Dai (2009) reports that ethnic Hani in Yangjie Township (ç¾Âè¡Â乡), Yuanjiang County belong to the Nuomei (糯ç¾Â) and Nuobi (糯æ¯Â) subgroups, who number 9,000 people and 6,000 people respectively in the township. The Nuomei live mostly in Gedie (æÂÂå¤), Dangduo (å Âèµ) (which also has Kucong speakers), and Bamu (Ã¥ÂÂæÂ¨) administrative villages, while the Nuobi reside mostly in Langzhi (æÂÂæÂ¯) (which also has Yi speakers in Zhongliangzi ä¸Âæ¢Âå ), Yangjie (ç¾Âè¡Â), and Diexia (å¤éÂÂ) (including Yidie, ä¾Âå¤) villages.
