Numao is a Hmongic language of China.
Varieties
Meng (2001) lists the following language varieties for Numao.
- Numao åªè (Nu Mhou, autonym: ) - 1,715 speakers in Libo County, Guizhou; representative dialect: Yaolu Township, Libo County èÂÂæ³¢ç¶éºÂç¶æÂÂ乡
- Numao åªè (Nu Mhou, White-Trouser Yao ç½裤ç¶, autonym: ) - about 1,200 speakers in the townships of Yaolu ç¶麠and Jiarong ä½³è£
- Dongmeng 匠(Long-Shirt Yao é¿衫ç¶, autonym: ) - about 400 speakers in the townships of Maolan èÂÂÃ¥Â
