Nivnice is a municipality and village in Uherské Hradià ¡tàDistrict in the ZlÃÂn Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 3,400 inhabitants.
Nivnice is located about southeast of Uherské Hradià ¡tàand south of ZlÃÂn. It lies in the Vizovice Highlands. The highest point is at above sea level. The NivniÃÂka Stream flows through the municipality.
The first written mention of Nivnice is from 1261.
Nivnice is the seat of a major beverage producer and the largest fruit processor in the country, the Linea Nivnice company.
There are no railways or major roads passing through the municipality.
The main landmark of Nivnice is the Church of the Holy Guardian Angels. It was built in 1741.
