Nadeem Javed is an Indian politician affiliated with the Indian National Congress. He served as a Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) for Jaunpur from 2012 to 2017.
Javed was born in Jaunpur, Uttar Pradesh. He moved to New Delhi for higher studies and graduated in Mass Communication from Delhi University. During his university years, he became an influential student leader, which paved the way for his entry into national politics.
In the 2012 Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly election, Javed contested from the Jaunpur seat and won with a significant margin for the Indian National Congress.
In May 2018, he was appointed as the National Chairman of the Minority Department of the All India Congress Committee (AICC) by Rahul Gandhi. Prior to this, he had served as the National President of the National Students' Union of India (NSUI) and the General Secretary of the Indian Youth Congress. Javed is also recognized as a National Media Panelist for the AICC, frequently representing the party's views on national television.
Nadeem Javed is married to Asma Nadeem Javed. The couple has two children, a son and a daughter.
