Myles O'Reilly is an Irish musician and film-maker.
OâÂÂReilly began performing in the group Juno Falls in 2003. The group were signed to V2 Records and released two albums, Starlight Drive (2004) and Weightless (2007).
From 2009 to 2020, OâÂÂReilly established himself as one of IrelandâÂÂs leading independent music-video directors, producing and editing hundreds of short films that documented the evolution of the countryâÂÂs contemporary folk and traditional scene.
In 2021, OâÂÂReilly deepened his role as producer, composer and engineer through a close creative partnership with Rónán àSnodaigh, co-writing, recording and mixing the albums Tá Go Maith (2021) and The Beautiful Road (2023).
In 2025, O'Reilly collaborated with President of Ireland Michael D. Higgins on Against All Certainty, a spoken-word ambient album for which he served as composer, producer, performer, and engineer. The project blends Higginsâ poetry with immersive sonic textures to reflect on the incredibly rich and formative life of the poet before he became IrelandâÂÂs President, from childhood to adulthood.
