Mouk-Aria is an Austronesian language spoken by about 600 individuals along coastal West New Britain Province, Papua New Guinea on the island of New Britain.
Phonology

Â/ sometimes appear as prenasalised voiced stops [mb nd Ã
Âg] before /ÃÂ/.
- The voiced stops /b d g/ frequently manifest as fricatives [ò ù ã] after vowels.
- /ÃÂ/ is voiced [ÃÂ] between voiced segments.
- Sonorants /l m n Ã
Â/ are voiceless [lÃÂ¥ mÃÂ¥ nÃÂ¥ Ã
ÂÃÂ] in clusters after voiceless stops.
- /i e/ manifest as [ï ä] before /ÃÂ/.
