Mitropoli (, before 1915: àñû÷ÃÂúñÃÂÃÂÃÂÿý - Paliokastron) is a village and a former municipality in the Karditsa regional unit, Thessaly, Greece. Since the 2011 local government reform it is part of the municipality Karditsa, of which it is a municipal unit. The municipal unit has an area of 57.894 km<sup>2</sup>. Population 2,892 (2021). The village, the site of the ancient city of Metropolis, was renamed in 1915 to reflect the association.
