Microlepidotus is a genus of grunts native to the Pacific coast of North America. The currently recognized species in this genus are:

• Microlepidotus brevipinnis <small>(Steindachner, 1869)</small> (humpback grunt)
• Microlepidotus inornatus <small>T. N. Gill, 1862</small> (wavyline grunt)
