Melanochelys

Melanochelys is a genus of turtles in the family Geoemydidae. Members are found in India, Myanmar, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Nepal.

Species

Melanochelys contains only two species:

• Indian black turtle (Melanochelys trijuga)
• Tricarinate hill turtle (Melanochelys tricarinata)
