Mario Montesanto (; 11 August 1909 – 29 March 1987) was an Italian football manager and player who played as a midfielder.
He is best known for his long and successful career with Bologna.
Montesanto began his football journey with Venezia, but in 1930, at a young age, he transferred to Bologna. He spent twelve seasons at the club, making 280 appearances and scoring 10 goals.
He represented the Italy national team twice, the first being on 17 February 1935 in a 2âÂÂ1 home win in a friendly match against France.
