The North-Western Mari alphabet uses all of the letters of the Russian alphabet, plus 7 more: ÃÂ, ÃÂ¥, ç, é, ñ, ë and ù. Respectively, these letters represent the phonemes /æ/, /à Â/, /à Â/, /à ¯/, /y/, /áºÂ/ and /ÃÂ/.
