Mangseng is an Austronesian language of New Britain, Papua New Guinea. It is a distinct branch of the Arawe dialect chain.
Phonology
- The voiced plosives /b d g/ present as [áµÂp â¿t áµÂk] word-medially.
- The cluster /nr/ is phonetically [ndr].
- The phonemes /e ÃÂ/ and /o ÃÂ/ are both written as and respectively.
Stress is penultimate.
