Maksim Viktorovich Berdnik (; born 18 January 1986) is a former Russian professional footballer.

Early life and physical profile

Maksim Viktorovich Berdnik (Russian: Максим Викторович Бердник; born 18 January 1986 in Pyatigorsk, Stavropol Krai, Russian SFSR) is a former professional footballer who played as a midfielder. He stands approximately 1.78 m tall and was known for his versatility in attacking midfield roles.

Club career

Berdnik began his senior career in 2002 with **Volgar‑Gazprom‑2 Astrakhan**, making 15 appearances and scoring once. Between 2006 and 2007, he had spells in Lithuania with **FBK Kaunas** and **FK Šilutė**, registering 12 appearances and one goal for Šilutė.

His most prolonged and notable stint was with **FC Dnepr Mogilev** in Belarus (2007–2009, 2011–2012, 2015), combining for 97 league appearances and 14 goals in total.
