Making Contact is a radio program and podcast focused on public affairs. It is "heard on 140 radio stations" in the United States, Canada, South Africa and Ireland." It was produced by Frequencies of Change, which also went by the International Media Project. In April 2025, they announced the nonprofit would be closing. It was funded in 1994. As of 2026, it was still promoting encore episodes and a 30th anniversary "capsule" episode promoted their archive.
Episodes focus on topics from activism, elections, the prison system, indigenous peoples issues, and environmental justice.
Jina Chung was the executive director at Making Contact. Their website lists Amy Gastelum, Salima Hamirani, Lucy Kang, Anita Johnson, Jeff Emtman, Adwoa Gyimah-Brempong, as current team members along with freelancers. There are also past team members.
