Madanpur railway station is a railway station on the Sealdah Ranaghat line. It serves the local areas of Madanpur in the Nadia district of West Bengal.
The SealdahâÂÂKusthia line of the Eastern Bengal Railway was opened to railway traffic in the year 1862. Eastern Bengal Railway used to work only on the eastern side of the Hooghly River. The SealdahâÂÂRanaghat sector was electrified in 1963âÂÂ65.
The platform is not well sheltered. It lacks many facilities including water and sanitation.
