Lynn Morris (academic)

Professor Lynn Morris is an A-rated South African scientist, researcher and the Deputy Vice-Chancellor: Research and Innovation at the University of the Witwatersrand in Johannesburg, South Africa. Over the last 30 years she has made significant contributions to the understanding of the antibody response to HIV infection, prevention and vaccination. Professor Morris is a National Research Foundation A-rated scientist, has published over 270 papers, holds an H-Index of 66 and has featured in the Web of Science list of highly cited researchers.

Education

Lynn Morris got her Bachelor of Science degree (BSc) and Masters degrees (MSc) in Zoology and Microbiology respectively from the University of the Witwatersrand and she then proceeded to the University of Oxford for her doctorate degree (PhD) in Virology.
