Lutayan, officially the Municipality of Lutayan (; , Jawi: çÃÂàï ÃÂàÃÂêçÃÂÃÂ; ), is a municipality in the province of Sultan Kudarat, Philippines. According to the 2020 census, it has a population of 65,644 people.
This lakeside town shares Lake Buluan with its neighboring municipality, Buluan, Maguindanao. Lutayan was created from Buluan on May 8, 1967. The first appointed mayor was Datu Datucan Rajahbuayan Mapayag, while the first elected mayor was the wife of the mayor of Buluan.
Lutayan is politically subdivided into 12 barangays. Each barangay consists of puroks while some have sitios.
