Lunca Banului is a commune in Vaslui County, Western Moldavia, Romania. It is composed of seven villages: BroscoÃÂeÃÂti, Condrea, FocÃÂa, Lunca Banului, Lunca Veche, OÃÂetoaia, and RÃÂducani.
The commune is located in the eastern part of Vaslui County, about southeast of the county seat, Vaslui, on the MoldovaâÂÂRomania border. It lies on the right bank of the Prut River, which marks the border; the PruteÃÂ, a right tributary of the Prut, flows through Lunca Banului, OÃÂetoaia, and Lunca Veche villages.
