The Litava (also known as Cézava) is a river in the Czech Republic, a left tributary of the Svratka River. It flows through the South Moravian and ZlÃÂn regions. It is long.
The name is derived from the Czech word lÃÂtá (meaning 'fierce', 'wild'), referring to the character of the river.

The most populated settlement on the river is the town of Slavkov u Brna. The river flows through the municipal territories of Chvalnov-LÃÂsky, Zástà Âizly, Koà ¾uà ¡ice, MalÃÂnky, Brankovice, Nesovice, Nevojice, BuÃÂovice, Kà Âià ¾anovice, HodÃÂjice, Slavkov u Brna, VÃ¡à ¾any nad Litavou, Hruà ¡ky, ZbÃ½à ¡ov, à  aratice, HostÃÂrádky-Reà ¡ov, ÃÂjezd u Brna, à ½atÃÂany, MÃÂnÃÂn, BluÃÂina and à ½idlochovice.
