The name Nock-ten (Lao: à ºÂà º»à ºÂà »Âà ºÂà º±à ºÂ, ]) has been used for three tropical cyclones in the western North Pacific Ocean. The name was contributed by Laos and means kingfisher in Lao.
The name Nock-ten was retired following the 2016 Pacific typhoon season and was replaced with Hinnamnor (Lao: à º«à ºµà ºÂà »Âà º²à º¡à »Âà »Âà »Â, ]), which refers to Hin Namno National Park in Lao. The name was first (and only) used in 2022.
The name Hinnamnor was retired following the 2022 Pacific typhoon season and was replaced with Ong-mang (Lao: à »Âà ºÂà ºÂ-à º¡à º±à »Âà ºÂ, ]), which means Eld's deer (Rucervus eldii) in Lao.
