The name Leepi (Lao: à º«à º¼à ºµà »Âà ºÂà ºµ, ]) has been used for three tropical cyclones in the western North Pacific Ocean. The name was contributed by Laos and refers to Li Phi/Tat Somphamit Falls, scenic waterfalls around the southern part of Laos at the border with Cambodia. It replaced the name Xangsane, which was retired following the 2006 Pacific typhoon season.
