- Alrescha (Al Rescha, Al Richa, Alrischa, Al Rischa, Alrisha, El Rischa):
ï¼ (ar) al-rishÃÂâ , "the cord" ï¼ (ind.-ar) al-RishÃÂâÂÂ, "the Rope (of the well-Bucket)", for ò And. Later, wrongly transferred to this star.
ï¼ (ar) âÂÂuqdah, "knot" ï¼ (scientific Arabic) âÂÂaqd al-khayá¹Âayn, "the knot of the cord", for this star.
ï¼ (ar) khayá¹Âayn, "cord" ï¼ (scientific Arabic) âÂÂaqd al-khayá¹Âayn, for this star.
ï¼ (scientific Arabic) fam al-Samakah, "the mouth of the Fish", for this star.
@(ar) al-farg, "the beak-shaped spout (of the well-Bucket)", @(indigenous Arabic) al-farg al-Muqaddam, "the Fore Spout", for ò and ñ Peg as 24th Arabic lunar mansion, or al-farg al-Mu'akhkhar, "the Rear Spout", for ñ And and ó Peg as 25th Aerabic lunar mansion, later erroneously transferred to this star.
The star had an obscure Babylonian name Kullat NÃ
«nuâÂÂthe latter being the Babylonian word for fish and the former "Kullat" referring to either a bucket or the cord that ties the fish together.
