In 2024, Oklahoma had a total summer capacity of 31.9 GW through all of its power plants, and a net generation of 94,069 GWh. In 2025, the electrical energy generation mix was 44.7% natural gas, 41.8% wind, 10.4% coal, 1.9% hydroelectric, 0.8% solar, and less than 1% combined from biomass and petroleum.
